輔酵素Q10
輔酵素Q10是非水溶性蠟狀成分,屬於泛醌(ubiquinones)類。輔酵素必須幫助酵素作用,在結構上類似維生素K。人體約有50到75兆個細胞,除了成熟的紅血球細胞之外,輔酵素Q10遍存於所有細胞內。Q10具有多種健康益處,並可促進人體的新陳代謝。
輔酵素Q10是由兩個部分構成的複合物,末端是由脂溶性的異戊二烯組成的長鏈。Q代表「奎寧」(quinine),而「10」代表分子末端的異戊二烯單元數量。
輔酵素Q10存在於菠菜、花椰菜、堅果、黃豆、動物內臟與瘦肉、魚類等食物中。1977年,一家日本公司成功合成輔酵素Q10,使世人得以取得這項營養素。輔酵素Q10經小腸吸收,穩定狀態的濃度在體內約需5到6週的時間達成。
